Terms of Service

CONFESS is an anonymous confession platform. Each registered account is assigned a unique Human # identifier. You do not need to provide your real name, but you must provide a valid email address or sign in with Google to create an account.

Posting a confession requires an active subscription of $1 USD per month ("$1/mo"). You may read and interact with the feed without a subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time from your profile. No refunds are issued for partial months.

Confessions are permanent. Once posted, a confession cannot be edited, retracted, or deleted by you. This is a core part of the product. Only administrators may hide a confession in cases of policy violations, but the content is never fully erased from our systems.

Each account may post one confession per calendar day (UTC). Unused allowances do not carry over. Attempting to post more than once per day will be declined.

You may not post content that:

• Identifies, threatens, or harasses a real person by name or identifiable detail
• Contains illegal material or promotes illegal activity
• Includes self-harm instructions or promotes suicide methods
• Is spam, advertising, or AI-generated content from your personal account
• Violates the intellectual property rights of others

Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

Your Human # is public. Your email address or Google identity is never displayed publicly. However, we may disclose account information to law enforcement if legally required. Anonymity is not a shield for illegal activity.

Likes, comments, saves, and follows are free for all signed-in users. Comments appear under your Human # and are subject to the same content rules as confessions. Spam or abusive comments may be removed and your account suspended.

CONFESS is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not responsible for the content posted by users. If you see content that violates these terms, use the report button on any confession.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will note the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
